Adam has a robust background spanning over a decade in government relations, political strategy, policy analysis, legislation development, and political campaigns.
Adam has a deep understanding of federal and state legislation, local government administration, and electoral politics. In his most recent position as a mayoral appointee in the City & County of Denver serving as the Director of Federal and State Affairs, Adam played a pivotal role in advancing Mayor Mike Johnston’s priorities during his first year in office. He was instrumental in securing critical funding for housing, economic development, and more – driving legislative efforts that benefited the Denver metro area.
Prior to his role in the Johnston Administration, Adam held the position of Vice President of Government Affairs at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, he provided strategic advice and insights to over 1,000 members, including high-profile C-suite executives, assisting them in navigating complex public policy and government affairs challenges.
Adam also brings valuable experience from his tenure as Senior Advisor of Legislative and Government Affairs for Adams County. He worked closely with state legislators and congressional members to advocate for significant policy issues impacting the Front Range. His efforts contributed significantly to regional advancements, including the acquisition of the FAA’s 11th commercial spaceport license for Colorado Air and Space Port (CASP).
