ERIK N. CARLSON
From a young age, Erik was taught the importance of property rights while he watched his family negotiate easements on forest land and develop small residential communities in Minnesota. When Erik moved to Denver to begin law school, his strong interests in property rights and land development led him to immerse himself in the Denver area real estate and land use community. He became a law clerk for FGMC’s Real Estate and Land Use for nearly 2 years before coming on board as an Associate. While in law school, Erik was a recipient of the Bruce B. Johnson real estate scholarship. Knowing creative solutions and negotiations are in land use and zoning, Erik joined the Mediation Competition Team in law school and, along with his partner, won the National Championship in 2018.
On projects big and small, Erik takes a methodical and detail-oriented approach to his client’s goals.
Erik spends his free time outdoors hiking, biking and skiing.
