FGMC and Special Counsel Steven Weiser represent the Tramon Williams 38 Reasons Foundation. Tramon is a starting cornerback for the Green Bay Packers. He and his wife, Shantrell, a former college and professional basketball player, are the founders of the Foundation. Steven Weiser assisted the Foundation with its application for tax-exempt status, which was approved by the Internal Revenue Service approximately one month after the initial application for tax-exempt status was filed with the IRS. Congratulations to the Foundation and Tramon and Shantrell!
The 38 Reasons Foundation will provide children with personal growth and leadership opportunities to help them become community leaders. In an effort to instill a sense of hard work, dedication and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the Foundation will also offer ways for children to be challenged physically and mentally. Additionally, the Foundation will provide assistance to organizations and individuals involved in the search for cancer cures, particularly breast cancer.
Tramon and Shantrell’s dedication to fighting breast cancer is a result of multiple family tragedies including Tramon losing his aunt to the disease and watching Sahntrell’s grandmother, mother and two aunts fight the disease.
