Victoria Friedman is a trial attorney with more than 11 years of litigation experience handling complex criminal matters, including homicide, serious bodily injury, sexual assault, and domestic violence cases. Throughout her career, she has served as lead or co-lead counsel in more than 70 jury and bench trials, developing and executing litigation strategies from case intake through verdict. She now brings that extensive courtroom experience to civil litigation, where her trial skills, strategic approach, and dedication to advocacy will serve clients across a broad range of matters. After relocating to California, Victoria will be physically based in FGMC’s Los Angeles office, where she will continue to serve clients while contributing to the firm’s growing presence on the West Coast.

Prior to joining Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP, Victoria served as a Domestic Violence Prosecution Specialist with the Denver District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted high-profile and complex felony matters, advised law enforcement on legal strategy, and managed large-scale investigations involving forensic evidence and expert testimony. Earlier in her career, she served as a Senior Deputy District Attorney, managing a high-volume felony docket involving homicide, sexual assault, child abuse, and other serious criminal matters. Her extensive experience developing case strategies, presenting complex evidence, and advocating in the courtroom provides a strong foundation for her continued success in civil practice.

Victoria is licensed to practice law in Colorado and California and earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Her professional accomplishments include receiving the 2025 Excellence in Prosecution Award from the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center, presenting continuing legal education programs, and testifying before the Colorado Legislature on behalf of the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
