Helping Teens Navigate Risk: A Community Education Seminar for Parents and High School Students
At our office, we regularly host an educational seminar focused on helping families understand the legal and social challenges facing today’s teenagers. These events are part of our long-standing commitment to supporting the community, and we anticipate holding many more in the future.
All too often, the lawyers in our practice represent good kids who’ve made poor choices—whether involving school discipline or law enforcement. The best way to protect your children is to understand Colorado law and open up a meaningful dialogue about the decisions they face.
This two-hour seminar covers critical topics including alcohol and drug use, social media and sexting, criminal consequences, school investigations, and other real-life situations that may impact high school students. Please note: some explicit content and language may be used during the presentation.
We invite students in grades 9–12 to attend with at least one parent or legal guardian. Our goal is to share the insights we’ve gained from working with thousands of families, in hopes of helping your child avoid mistakes that can have lasting consequences.
This event is free, but space is limited—early registration is encouraged.

We look forward to seeing you and continuing to serve our community through these important conversations.
