Adam is an experienced legislative and government affairs specialist with a background that includes government relations, lobbying, political strategy, policy analysis, legislation development, political campaigns, and government administration. His experiences have been crucial in shaping his approach to government relations, where he blends political acumen with a mission-driven ethos to create meaningful impacts for clients across various levels of governance. 

Professional History

Adam’s extensive background in federal and state legislation, local government administration, and electoral politics has equipped him with the skills to adeptly navigate the intricate world of public policy and political strategy.  


Previously, as a mayoral appointee in the City & County of Denver overseeing state and federal affairs, Adam was instrumental in advancing Mayor Mike Johnston’s priorities through targeted political and legislative initiatives. He played a key role during the mayor’s transition year, helping the city secure critical funding and driving legislative efforts that benefited the Denver metro area and beyond.  

 

In his role as vice president of government affairs at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Adam led the development of policy strategies, working closely with Chamber leadership, advocacy groups, and public officials to drive policy change. Adam advised and provided insight to the Chamber’s 1,000-plus members, collaborating with top C-suite executives from across the state, helping them navigate issues related to public policy and government affairs.   

 

Prior to the Chamber, Adam spent four and a half years working as the legislative and government affairs senior advisor for Adams County, working with state legislators and congressional members to advocate for critical policy issues that impacted the county. Adam was involved in numerous important projects that have moved the region forward, such as helping the county gain the 11th commercial spaceport license awarded by the FAA for Colorado Air and Space Port.
