FGMC Attorneys Represent Local Investor Group in Purchase of Tattered Cover, Historic Colorado Bookstore

FGMC is proud to represent Denver-based investor group, Bended Page, LLC, in its purchase of the Tattered Cover bookstore. The transaction includes Tattered Cover’s four existing locations, as well as the bookstore’s upcoming move to the much-anticipated McGregor Square development across the street from Coors Field. Bended Page, through its investors, approached FGMC for legal representation in connection with the purchase. From start to finish, FGMC lawyers Evan Husney and Nate Bartell guided Bended Page throughout the transaction, ensuring that the investors could successfully obtain ownership over the beloved bookstore. As reported by The Denver Post, “[t]he sale makes Tattered Cover the largest Black-owned book store in the U.S.” FGMC looks forward to seeing the Tattered Cover thrive under its new ownership.
