Attorneys David Foster and Keirstin Beck assisted KSE Revesco in the rezoning process and negotiation of the multi-faceted development agreement and affordable housing plan associated with the River Mile project. The River Mile project, which was recently unanimously approved by the Denver City Council, will be developed on the 58-acre property owned by KSE Revesco, which is situated along the South Platte River where the Elitch Gardens amusement park is currently located. The affordable housing component of the project is one of the most robust in Denver’s history and is expected to have a long-term positive impact on the community. Major components of the plan include housing, office and commercial development space, open space and public amenities, and much more. The River Mile project will ultimately create a new dynamic downtown Denver neighborhood. Construction is set to begin in 2020.
