Nathan is a skilled litigator with a broad range of experience in commercial, regulatory, and appellate matters. Prior to joining FGMC, Nathan was an associate at two national firms in their respective Denver and Seattle offices—as well as a regional firm in the Pacific Northwest—where he represented clients in state and federal courts across Colorado and Washington, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals. Nathan’s litigation experience includes handling disputes involving contract breaches, business torts, trade secrets, aviation law, energy regulation, land use, and insurance coverage. His practice also includes defending clients in employment-related claims and navigating complex eDiscovery in high-stakes litigation.
Before entering private practice, Nathan clerked for the Honorable Anthony J. Navarro of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where he gained extensive experience in appellate procedure and judicial decision-making. He has also represented incarcerated and indigent clients through the University of Colorado Law School’s Appellate Advocacy Practicum, authored appellate briefs for the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, and served as a judicial intern to Chief Justice Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court.
Nathan’s work is informed by his commitment to precision, thorough preparation, and client-centered advocacy. He has a published law review comment on intellectual property under the Colorado Uniform Partnership Act and is an active member of the Colorado, Washington, and Denver Bar Associations, as well as the Colorado LGBT Bar Association.
Outside the office, Nathan enjoys baking, wine tasting, catching shows at his local community theatre, and discovering new and classic films to add to his physical media library.
